Must-Have Monday: The Crossbody Bag

Every fashionista knows that the perfect accessories can make or break an outfit. When you’re hitting the town for a night out, the bag you carry all of your vital items is one of the most important ones, whether it be a clutch or a wristlet. In college, most girls didn’t carry purses when heading out to the bars; instead, they’d use their shirt or wear dresses with pockets. But since I’m one of those people who has a tendency to forget where everything is, I needed a bag that would be roomy enough to hold my essentials without looking twice. Enter the crossbody bag. In a crowded area, this is an absolute lifeline for day or night. The crossbody bag allows you keep your hands free (whether it be double-fisting at a bar, dancing at a concert or holding shopping bags, among other things) without having to worry about where you left your wallet.

Don't tell her that print is dying--she's already made the switch to public relations. As a Midwest girl, winter happens approximately 80% of the year, so she knows a thing or two about a good pair of snow boots. She lives for summer weather (even though she can never tan), Boy Meets World reruns, and an unhealthy addiction to dark chocolate and online shopping. She's a die-hard Chicago sports fan, even though she's well aware the Cubs always end up in last place every year.
